Most every morning, at or just after sunrise, a Hyde Park, Austin, neighborhood gem named, Nancy, sets up her chair along the historic Hancock Golf Course to read a poem. She tries to memorize a new piece each week and happily hands out a copy to anyone who happens past. In 2024 she spent every month learning about a religious movement. Who knows what 2026 might hold. So many people love that Nancy does this. Of course I had to paint her!
